Privacy

When you create an account, the site keeps:

• Your email address, and a password if you chose one. Passwords are stored hashed — nobody, including us, can read them. If you signed in with Google, there is no password at all.
• Your first name and the avatar icon and colour you picked. No surname, and no date of birth.
• Your practice history: which questions you answered, whether each answer was right, when, and the XP it earned. This is what powers your progress, your streak and your level.
• If you pay for Premium, your plan and a reference to your Stripe customer record. Card numbers never touch the site — payment is handled entirely by Stripe.

That is the whole list. The site runs no analytics, no advertising, and no trackers. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.

• Other students see your first name, your avatar and your XP on the leaderboard — nothing else.
• Krish can see your progress and your account details, which is what makes the tutoring work.
• Nobody else. Your data is never sold, shared for advertising, or given to anyone except the services below that run the site.

Like almost every website, KRISH.one is built on a few well-established services, each of which handles your data only to run the site:

• Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in.
• Vercel serves the website itself.
• Stripe processes Premium payments and holds card details; we only ever see that a payment happened.
• Google, only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in.
• Zoom hosts the live lessons; joining one takes you to Zoom itself.

Everything is kept while your account is open, so your progress is exactly where you left it — a summer away doesn’t reset September.

To delete your account, email privacy@krish.one from the address on the account. Everything goes: your profile, your XP, and every answer you ever gave. Deletion is permanent — there is no anonymised copy kept behind.

KRISH.one is for students aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, please don’t create an account — and if we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will delete it.

You can ask for a copy of what the site holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — all by emailing privacy@krish.one. If you think your data has been mishandled, you also have the right to complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

If what the site collects ever changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. A change that matters — collecting something new — would be announced, not slipped in.
